HELL DEFENDED: REFUTING PARALLELISM

This is my defense of the biblical doctrine of hell. Many of those that deny hell, will sometimes make the immediate assertion that the doctrine of hell came from the mystery religions such as those from Egypt, Babylon, Assyria, Plato, and even the Council of Nicea in 325 AD.

Are there similarities with the hell doctrine of the bible and that what's seen in the ancient religions? Absolutely! However, that doesn't mean that plagiarism, copycatting, or direct influence took place, and unfortunately for many atheists, cult members, and liberal Christians, the onus is on them to provide the evidence. We're not concerned with the obvious similarities, we're only concerned with whether or not what's written and taught from the bible is true. So far, in my opinion, the atheists, cult members, and liberal Christians have all failed miserably in providing a substantial means to validate their argument.
