Whistleblower: Facebook 'lied' to oversight board

Former Facebook employee Frances Haugen on Monday (October 25) testified to British Parliament that the social media site mislead its own oversight board about a special program that allowed millions of users, including world leaders and celebrities, to evade standard restrictions on sharing content Facebook might have deemed harmful.
