The storm off of the coast of the Pacific Northwest today ended up being the strongest storm ever recorded this close to our coast. The pressure of the storm dipped all the way down to 942mb. Thankfully, the storm stayed far enough offshore to spare Washington a catastrophic blow. But, the winds were still strong! While filming this, the wind at Cape Disappointment gusted to 74mph. Within this video package is a variety of shots of giant waves crashing on the cliffs at Cape Disappointment, some damage, and other shots of strong blowing wind.
