Just got this new Tenda 3 port wireless n300 easy setup router

A router is a device on your network that is connected between all of your home network devices and your Internet Service Provider, or ISP. Routers are a very important part of your home or office network as they are responsible for a large part of your network security, passing all of your data in and out of your network, and frequently connecting to your wireless devices. Think of your router as the heart of your home or office network.

How to Set up a Tenda W311R Wireless-N Broadband Router without the CD
Plug in the router and connect it to your computer via a WIRED connection. Connect the cable into the Tenda router in one of the yellow ports labeled 1-4 (which one specifically should not matter).
Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.0.1.
When prompted for a username and password, enter “admin” for the username, and “admin” for the password. You should then see the following screen:
Click “WLAN Settings”, then “Basic Settings”. You should see the following screen:
Click “Enable Wireless” if it is not already checked, and enter a new name for your router in the field labeled “SSID”. The default name is “Tenda”, but you can choose any network name you like, so long as it is made up of only letters and numbers. Leave all other settings on this page at their defaults, and click “Apply”.
Now, click “Security Settings”. You should see the following screen:

In “Security Mode”, choose a network security type and enter an appropriate password. For demonstration settings, choose “WPA Personal”. Make sure “AES” is selected, and then enter in a pass phrase. This will be the password for your wireless network, so be sure to write it down. The default is “PlsChangeMe”, so go ahead and change it now. Leave the “Key Renewal Interval” field at its default setting, and click “Apply”.
Click on “WPS Settings”.

Click “Disable”, and then click “Save”.

Click “System Tools”, then “Change Password”. If you want, change the username and password here. You will need to enter the new username where it says “admin”, then the old password of “admin” in the Old Password field. Then, enter your new password in the “New Password” field, then again to confirm it. This login information is for allowing users to access this router configuration page, and if you lose this information and need to access these settings, the router will need to be factory reset. So, be sure to copy the information down to a safe place.
Close out of the Tenda configuration page.
Congratulations! You have successfully set up your home network. When ready, connect your modem to the router using the blue “WAN” port on the back of the router, and powercycle your modem and router, and internet will then be available on your home network.
