Hunderte von Demonstranten nahmen am Sonntag in Sofia an einer Demonstration gegen das "grüne Zertifikat" und die vorgeschriebenen Impfungen teil.

Das "grüne Zertifikat" ist ein Dokument, das für den Zutritt zu vielen öffentlichen Einrichtungen erforderlich ist und eine Impfung oder einen kürzlich wiedererlangten Status nachweist.

Die Demonstranten zogen auch zur italienischen Botschaft, um ihre Solidarität mit den derzeitigen Protesten in Italien zu bekunden.

Der Protest wurde von zivilen Gruppen organisiert, aber auch von einigen politischen Organisationen wie Ataka und Vazrajdane unterstützt.

Gesundheitsminister Katsarov warnte vor einer strengen Abriegelung des Landes, falls die Maßnahme der grünen Zertifikate nicht greifen sollte.

Hundreds of protesters attended a demonstration to oppose the 'green certificate' and mandatory vaccinations, in Sofia on Sunday.

The 'green certificate' is a document required to enter many public locations, by proving vaccination or recently recovered status.

Protesters also marched to the Italian embassy in a show of solidarity to protests going on in Italy at the moment.

The protest was organised by the civilian groups but was supported by some political organisations including Ataka and Vazrajdane.

The nation is also experiencing a surge in infections, Health minister Katsarov has warned of a strict lockdown if the green certificate measure does not work.

Bulgaria has the lowest vaccine uptake in the EU.

So far, Bulgaria has administered 2.7 million doses of COVID vaccines, as of Friday.

Cientos de manifestantes asistieron el domingo en Sofía a una manifestación para oponerse al "certificado verde" y a la vacunación obligatoria.

El "certificado verde" es un documento que se exige para entrar en muchos lugares públicos, demostrando la vacunación o el estado de recuperación reciente.
