Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) asked Attorney General Merrick Garland during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday if they would investigate Dr. Fauci for potentially lying to Congress.

Andrew Steven Biggs is an American attorney and politician who represents Arizona's 5th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives. A Republican, Biggs was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives from 2003 to 2011 and a member of the Arizona Senate from 2011 to 2017.

Merrick Brian Garland is an American attorney and jurist serving as the 86th United States attorney general since March 2021. He served as a circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit from 1997 to 2021.
