Switzerland: Thousands protest against COVID measures in Bern - 23.10.2021

Am Samstag versammelten sich Demonstranten in Bern, um gegen die COVID-19-Verordnung der Regierung zu demonstrieren.

Die Organisatoren rechneten mit 15.000 Teilnehmern, offizielle Schätzungen der lokalen Behörden waren jedoch nicht bekannt.

In der Nähe fand auch eine Gegenkundgebung vor allem von linken Gruppen statt.

Am 28. November wird die Schweiz über die jüngste Änderung des COVID-19-Gesetzes abstimmen.

Protesters gathered in Bern on Saturday to rally against the government's COVID-19 regulations.

Organisers were expecting 15,000 participants but official estimates from local authorities were currently unknown.

A counter-protest primarily of left-wing groups also took place nearby.

On November 28, Switzerland will vote on the recent amendment to the COVID-19 Act.
