Tausende von Demonstranten versammelten sich am Samstag auf dem Vabaduse-Platz in Tallinn, um gegen COVID-Beschränkungen zu demonstrieren.

Auf den Aufnahmen sind Demonstranten mit Fahnen und Plakaten zu sehen, die Slogans gegen die Impfpflicht und COVID-Zertifikate skandieren.

"Ich bin hierher gekommen, weil ich mit dem Vorgehen der Regierung unzufrieden bin - dass sie die Menschen zwingt, sich impfen zu lassen, und dass sie sogar Kinder dazu zwingt, sich auf verschiedene Weise impfen zu lassen", sagte einer der Demonstranten, Urmas Volmer.

Einem anderen Demonstranten, Rodin Denisov, zufolge werden die "Freien", die sich auf dem Platz versammelt haben, "die Willkür der Behörden nicht hinnehmen".

"Wenn wir schon gezwungen werden, uns impfen zu lassen, dann sollte der Staat wenigstens dafür sorgen, dass diese Impfung gegen Nebenwirkungen abgesichert ist, dass es einen Garantiefonds gegen Nebenwirkungen der Impfung gibt. Damit alles nach dem Gesetz abläuft und nichts anderes", fügte er hinzu.

Thousands of protesters gathered in Vabaduse Square in Tallinn on Saturday to rally against COVID restrictions.

Footage shows demonstrators with flags and placards chanting slogans against compulsory vaccination and COVID certificates.

"I came here because I am dissatisfied with the government's actions - that they are forcing people to be vaccinated and that they are even forcing children to be vaccinated in different ways," said one of protesters Urmas Volmer.

According to another protester Rodin Denisov, the "free" who have people have gathered in the square aren’t going to "tolerate the arbitrariness of the authorities".

"If we are forced to be vaccinated, then at least the state should ensure that this vaccination is guaranteed against side effects, that there is a guarantee fund against side effects of vaccination. So that everything is carried out according to the law and nothing else," he added.

Según otro manifestante, Rodin Denisov, los "libres" que se han reunido en la plaza no van a "tolerar la arbitrariedad de las autoridades".

"Si nos obligan a vacunarnos, al menos el Estado debería asegurar que esta vacunación esté garantizada contra los efectos secundarios, que haya un fondo de garantía contra los efectos secundarios de la vacunación. Para que todo se lleve a cabo de acuerdo con la ley y nada más", añadió.
