In the creation story next to God, Adam was the central character. But, the role he played was not as a "federal head" as so many falsely teach. Because the affects of his choices were only on how mankind relates to the natural world around us. Not on how we relate to God. For once he realized that God was not going to strike him dead, his relationship with God did not change after he ate the fruit.
