A Coppersmith Barbet making a nest

Came across this lovely little Barbet quite busy in making a nest. She was pecking the tree for maybe 15 mins and in this angle we could see the hole. I think the nest would take a left turn inside a bit so that the eggs can be laid there without falling down. So there remains a bit of work I guess to complete it.

I had seen these nests before, but never it actively making one. This is their nesting season and soon the air will be filled with their metallic calls.
