The city of Montreal is filled with apple trees and apples are everywhere! It was first planted by French settlers in this area and has been popular since then.
The city of Montreal, Quebec is know for it's apple. Their fruit is delicious, tasty, and juicy. Over 100 years ago in fact since the early 20th Century. There are many named "Montreal Apple" like Golden Delicious, Gala, Gravenstein, Honeycrisp, McIntosh, Red Delicious Apple which are all famous varieties of apples.
