Elections Alberta determines NDP candidate was Communist, rules no wrongdoing by Rebel

Sheila Gunn Reid shares the surprise news — we didn't even know there was an investigation under way — that Elections Alberta has wrapped up an investigation into Rebel News for a billboard truck that showed that a former Communist Party of Canada candidate, Anne McGrath, had joined the NDP and was running under its banner instead. Turns out, Elections Alberta found that McGrath was indeed a communist, and ruled there was no wrongdoing by Rebel News.
