Was Chandler Moore's Wedding Picture On Instagram Inappropriate? Did You Stumble Looking At It?

I saw the post and so many folks messaged me about it. Initially I didn't feel led to say anything. I figure we all see things how we see them but after seeing a few more post I felt led to discuss it. This one post from a sister in Christ in particular which I will post down below. Were her concerns valid

I’m not reposting pictures or calling names.

Sex is good since God created it to be within the bounds of marriage, but we don’t need to see you in sexually suggestive postures just because you’re married.

... I don’t understand why it’s so hard for some to understand that other people/the internet should NOT see your sexuality. Married or not, and especially if you’re a pastor/minister because you’re literally supposed to be leading others to Jesus and you’re held to a higher standard.

Some of y’all WANT to see it, and that’s where the problem lies. You pass it off as people who are discouraged or grieved by literally now having the image of people having sex in their imagination as being “too holy,” or “too churchy” when it shouldn’t be available for public consumption to begin with! Nothing is sacred anymore in a overly sexual and stimulated world.

Even as the bare minimum, scripture tells us not to cause others to stumble, which is clearly something some of y’all don’t take too seriously.

Posting pictures that are indeed SEXUALLY SUGGESTIVE is causing people to SEE you in sexual way and that should not be. What’s hard to understand about that? Yes, there’s grace, but grace isn’t a license to sin. Jesus doesn’t just pat our backs and say “it’s not a big deal” as much as some are making it seem. There are consequences to almost everything in life, whether it affects you or someone els
