Cataract surgery using Two-handed Phacoemulsification technique followed by a custom made acrylic foldable intraocular lens implant in a 2,5 year-old Bengal Tiger.
Total surgical time was 2 hours and 40 minutes and both eyes were performed in the same surgical act.
The procedure was performed by Dr. João Alfredo Kleiner DVM, MSc. and staff of Prontodog and Cat Veterinary Hospital (Maringa, PR - Brazil) in November 16th, 2012.
