UK: COVID-sceptics scuffle with police, accost MP Gove in London - 19.10.2021

Am Dienstag kam es in London zu Handgreiflichkeiten zwischen Polizeibeamten und COVID-Skeptikern. Am selben Tag stimmten die Abgeordneten für eine Verlängerung der COVID-Befugnisse bis zum 24. März 2022.

Die Polizei begleitete den Abgeordneten Michael Gove vor dem Gebäude des britischen Innenministeriums aus der Menge der Demonstranten.

Die Demonstranten setzten ihren Marsch in Richtung des Londoner Büros von Bill und Melinda Gates fort, wobei mehrere Demonstranten festgenommen wurden.

Scuffles broke out between police officers and COVID-sceptics in London on Tuesday. The same day MPs voted to extend COVID powers to March 24, 2022.

Metropolitan police were also seen escorting MP Michael Gove away from the accosting crowd of protesters while walking by the UK Interior Ministry building.

Protesters continued their march towards the Bill and Melinda Gates London office, with several protesters detained.
