Brave rescuer frees sand boa trapped in plastic bottle in southern India

A brave rescuer freed a sand boa trapped in a plastic bottle in southern India on Monday (October 18).

The three-foot-snake got stuck in a discarded plastic bottle in a local backyard in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Residents sent for help and eventually, someone came to rescue the poor animal by carefully cutting open the bottle.

The snake was later released in a nearby forest.
