20211019 Cascading Failure - The Daily Summation

It's just not all that complicated folks.

You may think you're fixing something by shutting off the World (lock downs etc). You need to understand though, when you do things like that, those things that normally WOULD be produced, quite simply WON'T.

Is the guy who fixes the streets, or the one who cleans the toilet (or grinds flour, or processes chicken) an essential worker?

You may not see how, but the definite answer is, "Without doubt or question!"

So when you tell him or her to NOT report to work, needed activities DO NOT OCCUR.

Then if they get used to being paid (often more than they're "worth"), for sitting around doing nothing, it's going to be THAT MUCH HARDER to get them to go back to work.

One not-so-fun result? Cascading failure.

Because they didn't do "their part," others CANNOT do theirs.

This is what I discuss today on The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
