This is a fabulous example of professional medicine in the service of power. Dr Claire Hooker appears to have been invited by Rupert Murdoch and News Limited to dismiss concerns of the vaccine hesitant or resistant. In the original clip, she opens with a couple of seemingly lunatic fringe arguments. I have left those out. She then moves to Big Pharma's loving concern for the public. Rounds it off with a dismissal of our immune system that took billions of years of development in support of an experimental gene therapy program flung together in a few months. Hubris on steroids.
