Daggerfall Playthrough Part 2 - Rusty Ogre Lodge, Becoming a Werewolf

Robbery Glitch:
I really need to acquire a horse and wagon. Easiest way to get these are to steal them by entering a General Store, loitering around until after closing, then save and reload the game. Suddenly the merchant is gone and everything on the shelves becomes FREE!! Now we take our new wagon and load it up with valuables at the Rusty Ogre Lodge.

Rusty Ogre Lodge:
This is a weird 'glitch' in the game. Go to the Rusty Ogre Lodge in Daggerfall, enter the White Goblin tavern, head upstairs and save the game. Then reload and check all the footlockers - You find a LOT of Daedric weapons (the best in the game). Load up with as much as you can and sell whatever you don't use for a large fortune. This is the easiest way to make money in the game.

Buying a Boat:
Now that we have lots of money, let's open a bank account at the Bank of Daggerfall and buy a boat. There are two boats you can buy: a large one for 200,000 and a small one for 100,000. Buy the small one. A boat will give you a place to store items and give you a safe place to rest wherever you are (you basically carry it in your back pocket). Press 'T' to enter your boat.

Becoming a Werewolf:
Now that we're rich and have a boat, we need to get Lycanthropy. Join the Fighter's Guild and ask for a quest until you get the one where you have to kill a werewolf. Save and reload if you have to until you get that quest. The Fighter's guild will provide you with a location/dungeon. Now find the werewolf and let it beat on you, run away and rest then let it beat on you some more. Make sure it's a werewolf and not a wereboar. With every hit there is a 0.6% chance that you'll contract lycanthropy. You'll know when it happens because you'll see a short cutscene where you 'dream of the moon'. About a day later you'll get a 40 point jump to Strength, Agility, Speed and Endurance as well as a 30 point jump to Running, Jumping, Climbing, Swimming, Hand-to-hand, Stealth and Critical Striking. These advantages also apply to your human form!! Of course, you'll have to hunt and kill an innocent once every 15 days or your health drops to practically nothing but, hey, totally worth it, right?
