Isaiah Meanderings (5): Ch 3 ii/iii - Bad Leaders Behaving Badly

In the first twelve verses of Isaiah 3, God holds bad leadership accountable for the eroding state of affairs. A people in love with their own vanity are creating a world where folk are desperate for some semblance of order. Inept leadership pushing inept policies is creating ruination and desperation. Unashamedly, they feel accountable to no one. But this is not the case. There is one, far greater than they and their greed, to whom they are fully accountable - even as they are leading the nation on a path toward destruction.
