Joint military exercises of the Russian Navy and the People's Republic of China Naval Forces have been held in the Sea of Japan (known to Koreans as the East Sea). Sailors from both countries performed more than 20 exercises, including mine defense, artillery fire, countering naval aviation fighters and helicopters, and more.
