We Are Alive: When We Give God Our All
(Acts 1:16-17)
'For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”'

I. Stand For What We Called For! (Acts 1:8)
• Good Morning!! I am So Glad that you are here today!
• We are in our sermon series “Dead or Alive: Which Church are we?
• As we are looking at our text today, we are seeing the letter that Paul wrote to the Church in Rome.
• Paul’s powerful statement “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.”
• Read (Acts 1:8). Expound on why this statement of Paul is important.

II. The Call To Action! (Luke 9:23-26)
• As we continue to investigate the text today, we see that Paul reiterates his conviction.
• Notice the wording that is being used. And the emphasis.
• Repeat (Acts 1:8). Expound on the importance.
• Listen to what Jesus says in (Luke 9:23-26)
• Jesus is calling for us to place our faith and trust in Him!
• By doing so, we are expert witnesses that are being called and asked for.

III. Are You In Good Hands?
• As we come to the end of the text today, Paul is asking us a question today…Where do you place your faith? And in whom?
• Listen to (Hebrews 11:1 & 12:1-2)
• We are being called to show the world the importance of living for God!
• Are you ready to place your faith and trust In God? Then Choose Jesus Today!!
