🔰Belly dancing is a famous dance originally practiced in various regions of the Middle East and South Asia.
Of primitive and nebulous origin, dated between 7000 and 5000 BC, its movements allied to music and serpent-like sinuosity were recorded in Ancient Egypt, Babylon, Mesopotamia, Persia and Greece, and had the objective: to prepare the woman through religious rites dedicated to goddesses to become mothers.

With the invasion of the Arabs, the dance spread throughout the world.
The expression belly dance appeared in France in 1893.[3] In the East, it is known by the Arabic name raqṣ sharqī[4] (رقص شرقي, literally "dance of the east"), or raqṣ bladi (رقص بلدي, literally "dance of the region", and by extension, "folk dance") , or by the Turkish term çiftetelli (or τσιφτετέλι, in Greek).

It is made up of a series of vibrant, impacting movements, undulations and rotations that involve the body as a whole.
Currently, it has gained exotic sensual aspects, being excluded from some Arab countries with a conservative attitude.[1]
