FacePay Unmasked at Moscow Metro stations (WATCH on Ruptly)

New turnstiles have been launched at every station on the Moscow metro system allowing customers to pay for travel using FacePay biometric recognition system, without card, cash or even phone.

Passengers need to register in the Moscow Metro application, link a bank card, a transport card and upload their photo. Authorities have lauded the world’s first such system, and anticipate 15% of travellers will use it within three years.
