In the Tour de France in August, a serious problem appeared: about 50 athletes collided and fell and dozens of others were injured. And all this is because a stupid viewer tried to get into the TV camera lens and put her poster on the road. She interfered with the movement of the cyclist—then the domino effect worked.
A 31-year-old Brittany resident stood on the side of the road, holding a sign "Allez, Opi-Omi" (German translation "Come on, grandfather and grandmother!"). The lady put her hand on the poster too far, and one of the contestants, Tony Martin, got stuck in the poster, unable to hold the steering wheel.
This led to a large-scale accident that caused dozens of cyclists to fall and were injured. Moreover, some even crashed into the crowd of onlookers. As a result, several athletes had to withdraw from the competition, including Spaniard Mark Soler, who had broken both arms.

Obviously, the progress of the game was disrupted. Many athletes waste time because of congestion.
