Sights and sounds of The Gregory Diggings Central City Colorado snow sunshine

Location Central City Colorado border of Black Hawk Gregory Diggings.
Today is October 15, 2021 at 9: 03 AM MDT
and the temperature is 30 degrees and the humidity is 55 percent.
It has been snowing here in the past few days. There is never a lack of wind around here.

The first gold lode was discovered here in 1859 by John H Gregory of Georgia. Soon after people started pouring in to find their fortunes.

In this video you can see the Gaston Mine off to the left which overlooks the Gregory Diggings that was soon called Mountain City. Now it's right at the border of Black Hawk and Central City next to the Red Dolly Casino. This National Historic District is also home to art galleries, hiking and biking trails,museums, casinos, shops and much more.only about 40 miles to Denver and 8 miles off I-70 by way of the scenic Central City Parkway. It is a must stop when visiting the front range.
