Colorado enacted sweeping gun control laws, June 2021, one of those laws allows local municipalities to make gun laws that are in contradiction with state laws. 2018, Boulder, CO. enacted an assault weapons ban within the city limits in direct conflict with state law. Local elections should be approached with the same intensity as general elections are for federal positions.
