Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf on the Blackstone Griddle | Griddle Food Network
02/15/2021: This episode on the Griddle Food Network, its griddle cooking bacon wrapped meatloaf on the 36”blackstone griddle culinary series. This is a great cook from the blackstone griddle recipes. Griddle cooking at its finest.
First and foremost, thank you for watching. While still being a novice with griddling & creating YouTube content, this has been my favorite griddle thus far. I was able to take a great recipe that up until now has always been prepared in the oven and recreated it on the Blackstone griddle.
The bacon wrapped meatloaf came out absolutely amazing. It had great flavor all the way around. The flavor was not dominated by any one ingredient.
I hope you get a chance to create your own bacon wrapped meatloaf on the griddle and enjoy it as much as I did.
- 1 9''L x 5''W Loaf Pan
- 1 Pack Bacon (10.5 Oz)
- 3 LBs of Ground Beef
- 1 Egg
- Salt & Pepper
- 1/2 of Sweet Yellow Onion (chopped)
- 6 Cloves of Garlic (Chopped)
- 1 Cup of Breadcrumbs
- 1 Cup of Ketchup
Griddle temp was set to low and my cook time was 12 minutes on each side of the loaf. It took an additional 3 1/2 - 4 minutes extra on one side to get the temps to reach 160 degrees which is your target temperature point for this cook.
I recommend letting the meat loaf sit for about 10 minutes when taking it off the griddle.
