Warriors' forgotten man Damion Lee makes most of start against Lakers.
Damion Lee has been somewhat of a forgotten man during the Warriors’ preseason.
With Jordan Poole’s emergence as the obvious choice to start at shooting guard until Klay Thompson returns from Achilles surgery and head coach Steve Kerr getting extended looks at a handful of newcomers, Lee averaged just 15 minutes during the first three preseason games.

Lee started for a resting Stephen Curry and reminded everyone that he’ll probably always find a way to be a factor with his dependable performance in the Warriors’ 111-99 win over/to the Lakers at Staples Center.
“He’s had a great camp, and he’s a guy on our team who we kind of take for granted,” Kerr said.
“He’s such a pro.
He’s such a rock solid player.
He’s ready every night, whether I play him 20 minutes or whether I don’t play him at all.
