FDA Directors Resign over Pfizer Booster Jab

Both the Director and the Deputy Director of the Office of Vaccines (Dr. Marion Gruber and Dr. Phil Krause) have resigned over the way the Biden administration is pushing the Pfizer booster through the approval process. They coauthored a paper with 16 other doctors, explaining that there is no evidence supporting the safety, efficacy or necessity of the booster. The FDA Advisory Board voted 16-2 against approval of the Pfizer jab for the general population, citing issues of safety, and insufficient evidence of efficacy and necessity. The booster jab was approved anyway, for use in health care workers and those over 65. These policy decisions impacting public health should not be driven by politics, nor by corporate profiteering.

I just want to add a comment about Dr. Marks’ statement that the FDA is not bound by the decisions of the FDA Advisory Committee. I took that remark from one point of the Sept 17th Advisory Committee meeting, and, for dramatic effect, interjected it at two different points of the meeting.
