Covid 19= 24/7

LEBANON CITIZENS HAVE HAD THEIR SAVINGS FROZEN BY THEIR BANKS AND THEY CANNOT WITHDRAW THEM ANY LONGER
This is the latest development with an issue that has been building in Lebanon for over a year now. With banks locking the citizens’ funds, they are left with no other option but to break into the locked banks.

Why is this going on? Fractional reserve and an absurd amount of corruption.

The Lebanese security forces have prevented depositors from storming Beirut bank after they have been blocked from withdrawing their money. Since the beginning of this economic crisis, Lebanon’s currency lost 90% of its value, and the local banks have imposed capital controls.
