Solid Oak Table With Pipe Legs

Needed a table at the sawmill for lunch breaks. So the Grumpy Machinist called and offered a free cookie if we cut a large red oak up for him (really?). Wax was applied to the cookie and it was 2 months old at the time of this production.

This video is every step except one to cut up 2 7/8" OD oilfield pipe for the legs, cut pocket holes into the bottom of the cookie, attach and weld together, wrap a chain around the every changing green cookie and apply tung oil. Made a tractor compatible lifting eye because it weighs 200 lbs (91 kg).

The missing corrupted video step is the additional 2 9/16" hole saw cut that widened the pocket hole kerf.

Will probably do a follow up video of deep pour epoxy to seal up cracks.
