Dozens of protesters marched through central Madrid to reject the legacy of Spanish colonialism on National Day of Spain, on Tuesday. Footage shows protesters chanting slogans such as '12th of October, national shame' as they march with placards rejecting the colonial era. On 12 October, Spain celebrates National Day, commemorating the country's legacy to the world as well as the arrival of Christopher Columbus in America in 1492.
