She shares that they are present in nearly 96-98% of people. She talks about how 25 mites can reside in a single hair follicle and that they are only 100-300 microns long. She explains how they feed on the oil on the skin and can be the cause of acne or rosacea. Lastly, Dr. Janine talks about how stress, a weak immune system, and anxiety can make this worse.
