Feds approve Colorado’s inclusion of gender-affirming care in essential benefits benchmarking

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced Tuesday it had approved Colorado’s request to include gender-affirming care in the state’s essential health benefit benchmark for individual and small group health insurance plans.
