USA: Arrests made at indigenous people's protest in DC - 11.10.2021

Arrests were made as indigenous people rallied in Washington DC on Monday. The protest was held as part of series of demonstrations in several US states on Indigenous Peoples' Day which coincides with Columbus Day that marks Christopher Columbus's arrival in the Americas. The protest started with a march from Freedom Plaza to the White House, to demand the Biden administration stop pipelines from being constructed through indigenous lands across the United States.
