In this video, I want to do an intermittent fasting Q and A. People have a lot of questions, and I'm going to cover a few of them.

1. Can I chew gum
Chewing gum is fine. But, gum with xylitol may be a better choice over gum with aspartame.

2. Lemon water
This is totally fine.

3. Can I take wheat grass juice powder
Yes, this shouldn't be a problem.

4. Can I have protein powder?
Only have this during a meal.

5. Cheat day
There is no such thing as a cheat day on my program.

6. How do you fit in all of your calories in 1-2 meals?
Consume large meals, but don't overstuff yourself. Make sure your meals are very nutrient-dense and high-quality. Your body will adapt to the number of calories you're consuming.

7. Keto rash
The liver could be dumping a toxin because you're losing a lot of fat. You could try consuming more vegetables and also bentonite clay.

8. Apple cider vinegar and lemon water
Not a problem.

9. Will my cholesterol go up?
In some people, yes. But, you shouldn't really have to worry about this if you're doing keto and intermittent fasting correctly with a lot of vegetables.

10. Keto flu or fatigue
You may be depleting potassium and B vitamins. You may want to try having electrolyte powder or nutritional yeast.

11. Breastfeeding
You may not want to go on a diet or try to lose weight while breastfeeding.

12. Pregnancy
Eat very healthy, but you may not want to go on a diet or try to lose weight. Trace minerals and fat-soluble vitamins are important.

13. Children
If a child is overweight, this could be a good idea. If not, a version of this might be good. You may want to include certain fruits.

14. Bulletproof coffee
Try it out and see how it affects your weight. But, just stick with one in the morning.

15. Kombucha tea
Make sure it has no more than two grams of sugar per serving. If you want an alcohol alternative, you can try it out and see how it affects your weight.
