Millipedes, luing, wuling or millipede (class Diplopoda, previously also called Chilognatha) are arthropods that have two pairs of legs per segment (except the first segment on the back of the head, and a few after that have only one leg). Millipedes are an order of members of invertebrates belonging to the phylum Arthropoda, class Myriapoda.

The body of this animal is cylindrical, the number of segments is about 25-100, each segment has only one pair of legs and each abdomen has five pairs of legs and two pairs of spiracles. These animals reproduce by laying eggs.
