Canada deploys the HMCS Winnipeg in a joint military exercise off the Japanese island of Okinawa as part of Operation Neon. Designed as a show of force to the CCP. While the HMCS Harry Dewolfe becomes the 1st Canadian ship since 1954 to complete the North West Passage.
