$12 Tablecloth Upcycled to Circle Skirt | Easy DIY Sewing

In one of my easiest sewing projects ever, I upcycle a $12 round tablecloth from Target into a circle skirt with an elastic waistband. To my surprise, this took me less than 1.5 hours to sew & film this project and there was zero ironing! Hitting up home stores for textiles like sheets and tablecloths is something I do pretty often, as there are great deals on these items I can use for anything from quilt backings to clothing. I tend to prefer woven, natural fabrics like cotton or linen and avoid materials like polyester / acrylic / microfiber.

Supplies Needed:
Round Tablecloth (I used 70 inch for a midi length skirt)
1 inch wide (could go larger) plush elastic
