Germany: Hundreds protest anti-COVID measures in Nuremberg - 09.10.2021

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered for a march against the country's COVID-19 measures, as seen in Wohrder Wiese, Nuremberg on Saturday. The measures have been put in place to help stop the virus from spreading. Participants held signs criticising Germany's 2G and 3G regulations, which require that people are either vaccinated against COVID-19 or have recently tested positive for the virus, in order to enter businesses and public spaces. "There are a few demands, on the one hand, we are here in Nuremberg, reminding us of the Nuremberg Codex, according to which vaccinations must always be voluntary and well informed. And at the moment neither one nor the other is the case," said protester Hans Pfister. In addition to rallying against the national COVID-19 policy, attendees also called for the recall of the Bavarian State Parliament, headed by CSU leader Markus Soder.

Hunderte von Demonstranten versammelten sich am Samstag auf der Wohrder Wiese in Nürnberg zu einer Demonstration gegen die COVID-19-Maßnahmen des Landes. Die Maßnahmen wurden eingeführt, um die Ausbreitung des Virus zu verhindern. Die Teilnehmer hielten Schilder in die Höhe, auf denen sie die deutschen 2G- und 3G-Regelungen kritisierten, die vorschreiben, dass Personen entweder gegen COVID-19 geimpft oder kürzlich positiv auf das Virus getestet worden sein müssen, um Geschäfte und öffentliche Räume betreten zu dürfen. "Es gibt ein paar Forderungen, zum einen sind wir hier in Nürnberg und erinnern an den Nürnberger Kodex, wonach Impfungen immer freiwillig und gut informiert sein müssen. Und im Moment ist weder das eine noch das andere der Fall", so der Demonstrant Hans Pfister. Neben der Kundgebung gegen die nationale COVID-19-Politik forderten die Teilnehmer auch die Abberufung des bayerischen Landtags unter Vorsitz von CSU-Chef Markus Söder.

Las medidas se han puesto en marcha para evitar la propagación del virus. Los participantes sostenían pancartas en las que criticaban las normas alemanas de 2G y 3G, que exigen que las personas estén vacunadas contra el COVID-19 o hayan dado recientemente positivo en las pruebas del virus, para poder entrar en empresas y espacios públicos. "Hay algunas exigencias, por un lado, estamos aquí en Nuremberg, recordando el Códice de Nuremberg, según el cual la vacunación debe ser siempre voluntaria y bien informada. Y por el momento no se cumple ni lo uno ni lo otro", dijo el manifestante Hans Pfister. Además de manifestarse contra la política nacional de COVID-19, los asistentes también pidieron la destitución del Parlamento del Estado de Baviera, presidido por el líder de la CSU, Markus Soder.
