Italy: Police use teargas, water cannon to disperse anti-vax protest in Rome - 09.10.2021

Thousands of protesters gathered in central Rome to protest against the implementation of the 'green pass' and mandatory vaccination on Saturday. The major avenues and squares of the city centre such as Piazza del Popolo and Via Veneto entered a state of emergency as police used teargas and water cannon to disperse the rally. Scuffles broke down at Piazzale Brasile and in front of Palazzo Chigi. So far 12 people have been detained, according to local reports.

Tausende von Demonstranten versammelten sich am Samstag im Zentrum Roms, um gegen die Einführung des "grünen Passes" und die Impfpflicht zu protestieren.
