Windows 11 In the Studio - Does it work with: Pro Tools, Studio One, Plugins, DaVinci Resolve, OBS?

Windows 11 just came out a couple days ago, does it work with Pro Tools, Studio One, DaVinci Resolve, OBS, etc...🤔

The good news is that Windows 11 has been relatively flawless so far. There are a few bugs, but they have not affected my DAW, NLE, or other software.

While not approved yet, Pro Tools seems to work just fine with Windows 11.

Studio One is already approved for W11 and it works fine.

DaVinci Resolve works fine.

OBS works fine.

My audio interface, Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 Gen3, also works with no issues (so far).

I did an in-place upgrade from Windows 10, and all my apps, drivers, and files carried over. I didn't have to re-install anything. All my plugins were there as well.

Should you upgrade to Windows 11 on your studio computer?

Probably not quiet yet. It is possible there could be bugs I have not encountered yet, and a lot of software is not officially approved.

But if you want to do the upgrade, it should work with your DAW, NLE, Plugins, etc...

Just be sure to backup EVERYTHING before you upgrade!
