David Freiheit is a Montreal YouTuber who goes by the moniker “Viva Frei” (a derivative of his last name, which means “freedom”). He is the youngest of five children, from a family of lawyers. He created his YouTube channel as a distraction from the practice of law, and it has grown into one of the most popular law-themed channels on YouTube. He creates videos breaking down and explaining current events in law, also known as the “vlawg”.
