The NZCYPS Act documents "The Best Interests Of The Child', however the best interests of the child can be determined by the child his or herself
The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and Young People that the 'The Child and Young Persons have the the right to the best healthcare, including dental, sexual, mental and other health services, where children, young people define what are their own best interests are.
