No Vaccine Equals No Life-Saving Transplant

A Colorado hospital is denying a patient a life-saving kidney transplant unless she agrees to first get a Covid vaccination. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Doctors have given Leilani Lutali has six months to live UNLESS she gets a transplant. But the hospital won’t perform the operation unless she and her donor agree to get vaccinated.
“There are questions that have not yet been answered, and until those questions are answered and settled in my mind, I don’t’ want to take that shot.”
“They are hard and fast. If you won’t get vaccine, then you can’t donate. If you don’t get the vaccine, you can’t be a recipient.”
“I feel coerced. I feel like my life is being held in their hands in exchange for a shot and the attitude is, just take the shot.”
