Gathering rules change heading into Thanksgiving long weekend

Premier Jason Kenney made some last-minute changes on to the private gathering rules the province announced mid September.

On September 15, Kenney announced private gatherings for unvaccinated individuals was not permitted. Vaccinated individuals were also restricted to only two households and up to a maximum of 10 people who are eligible to be vaccinated, so excluding children under 12 years of age.

Outdoor private gatherings were restricted to 200 people with the practice of social distancing measures.
