Over the Double Rainbow

I had a nice moment with God today as I stepped outside of my house, looked up at the sky, and enjoyed some of His beautiful creation.

It was a gorgeous blue sky with a double rainbow, and one of the rainbows was the brightest, most vibrant rainbow I had ever seen!

I felt the clarity of eternal perspective, and a sense of peace reminding me that beyond the fading moments of pain, there is sustainable joy found in Jesus!

I took some photos and wrote a short poem—

OVER THE DOUBLE RAINBOW

I was having a rough day
Bad thoughts not going away
Went outside, looked at the sky
Saw God’s beauty & wondered why
I let this world get me down
Jesus turned lost into found
Heavenly jewels in a crown
