Falling water is a house designed by using the architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1939 in the Laurel Highlands of southwest Pennsylvania, about 70 miles (one hundred ten km) southeast of Pittsburgh. The house became built partially over a waterfall on Bear Run within the Mill Run phase of Stewart Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, positioned within the Laurel Highlands of the Allegheny Mountains.
