Blowin' In The Wind.

Good morning everyone. I thought for today I would share a short video (about 40 seconds long) of a Halloween Pennant (Celithemis eponina) literally "blowin' in the wind".

The genus of dragonflies known as Celithemis get part of their common name from the habit of perching on the tip of a weed stalk or stem, and waving in the breeze like a "pennant". And none of them does it better as far as perching on the tallest stem, and hanging on in the stiffest breeze or wind, as the Halloween Pennant.

I know, not many of you are thrilled about videos, but I thought my overseas contacts, or those of you not familiar with this dragonfly, might find how they act interesting
